I earned my BFA with a concentration in Visual Communications at AIU Online. I am proud of myself and I am thankful that I had an opportunity to accomplish my goals while staying at home and caring for my family.

My first experience with AIU Online was considering my options with my Admissions Advisor. Just when I began to feel overwhelmed with the idea of starting my degree he gave me some great tips and encouraged me to harness my strengths and my dreams. From our initial conversation to my upcoming graduation things have gone very smoothly for me at AIU Online.

The technical support staff at AIU Online is very knowledgeable and although they fall into an unrecognized category they deserve to be praised because each time I spoke with them they were able to assist me with straight-forward, easy-to-understand language, and a personable attitude. One more aspect that impressed me about AIU Online was that I never had to report a problem about the Virtual Campus; it was consistently smooth, easy- to-use, and up-dated regularly.

As I neared my graduation date, my job search began. Thanks to my AIU Online Career Services advisor, my resume is polished and professional. I have a clear understanding about how to compose an effective cover letter, and have been given leads to several exciting positions in my field and in my local area. Although hesitant at first, I opened myself up to my advisor's help and support and found that with her sincerity and professionalism I was able to step up and create a more marketable image for myself.

I loved my program of study. The instructors are great, fellow-students are great, and class materials are great. My portfolio and understanding of design principles will take me far in my career! Thanks AIU Online!
