Since I was 12 years old, I had a determination to go to college and finish with a Master's degree in the Information Technology field. After graduation from high school, I decided to enter the United States Army as an Information Systems Analyst. I thought that I would not achieve my goal that I set for myself or that it would take longer than I expected.

In 2002, following the birth of my second child I decided to return to school; however, I could not afford to pay for childcare. AIU Online offered me the opportunity to go to school full time and be home with my children. I graduated with my Associate of Arts in Business Administration and continued to my Bachelor of Information Technology. With the education I received from AIU Online and the assistance from Career Services, I was able to acquire employment with Cox Communications with an excellent salary and an impressive benefits package.

I am so grateful to Career Services as well as to the rest of AIU Online for giving me the opportunity to excel in my education as well as my career. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Information Technology and I will graduate in December, 2005. Because of AIU Online, I am accomplishing the goals that I set for myself in life.

To the entire AIU Online team, thank you for helping me reach my goal and thanks for the great learning experience.
