Hello. My name is Lisa C. Joseph. I am in the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program at American InterContinental University Online. As my graduation day quickly approaches, I look back and reflect on my year at AIU Online. I am 39+ years old, a mother, a wife, a full-time employee, a sister, and a daughter. Finding time to go back to school and get my degree was a very difficult task. Choosing AIU Online is truly the best decision I have ever made. This school cares about me, my family, and my schedule.

I have never had a problem with my classes, financial aid, or technical support. I really enjoy taking my classes online due to the time factor. I am able to move at my pace and study within my time frame.

I like not having to register every quarter for my classes. AIU Online takes care of that for me. There is no guess work on my part about what my classes will be and in what order. My schedule is already planned for me, and the bookstore ships out my books to me. I even know who my instructors are and who is in my classes.

I like knowing my classmates, even if we never meet in person, because you do develop a bond and a friendship that can never be replaced. The classmates who you start off with will be the same classmates you end with. Students will come and go, but your classmates will always hold your hands and offer their support.

I have been on the AIU Dean's List from the very beginning. This could not have happened if it were not for my classmates and my instructors giving me support, advice, love and understanding, and most importantly, belief in myself.

I hope to always be a part of the AIU family. I sincerely thank everyone from AIU Online not only for being my number one college but also for supporting me through my journey. I have never asked a question to any department that I did not receive an answer for.

AIU Online is not only my college of choice, it is now my educational home.
