I wanted to write to AIU Online and tell you about some of my success since getting both my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Information Technology from AIU Online. I received my Bachelor's degree in August 2003; about five months later I was promoted at my company from my position as a Senior UNIX Systems Administrator to the PeopleSoft Applications Manager. This new job required that I have my Bachelor's degree.

I immediately started working on my Master's degree in Information technology in August, and finished it in July 2004. About eight weeks ago, I was promoted to Manager, Data Management and Information Architecture. In most companies, the position I hold is a director-level position (my company just doesn't have director positions; everyone is a manager). It is thanks to both my hard work and my Master's degree in IT that was I promoted into this position.

I thank AIU Online very much for the education they provided me. I have already seen huge dividends in terms of my success. From these two promotions, I have easily earned enough in raises to cover my total dollar investment at AIU Online.
