I had been pondering the return to school to further my education for some time, over five years really. However, I was extremely frightened to venture into that arena. I didn't think I would retain important information. And I wanted constant support and hand-holding. But I also felt that more education would boost my confidence level for more challenging employment opportunities and also boost my compensation level. An Admissions Advisor from AIU Online not only offered full support, but was also able to help direct my passion and allay my fears. With his encouragement, I was accepted for enrollment and jumped into the courses with both feet.

At first, unfamiliarity with online education was a challenge, but learning kindled excitement and perseverance strengthened my character and mindset. At every point when I felt discouraged, I would call my Student Advisor and just talking would get me back on track. Soon, I was eating up the challenges and standing strong on the tasks accomplished excellently. I completed the program with an outstanding GPA! The achievement took a while to sink in, but it has positively affected the way I view myself and others. Not to mention, the experience has stimulated the desire to continue furthering my education. However, now I possess the mindset of "I can do it!" And do it, I shall! Thank you AIU.
