Edward Robles
Promoted to Vice President

After spending the last five years as an independent consultant in the financial services industry, AIU MBA grad Edward Robles was recently appointed Vice President and General Manager for Latin America by Transaction Networks Services. This news was reported in a July 31, 2006, TNS press release that was sent out over the Business Wire.

TNS is a leading provider of business-critical data communications services to processors of credit card, debit card and ATM transactions. It provides services to customers in the United States and 27 other countries, including Canada and countries in Europe, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region. It is traded on the NYSE under TNS.

"I am delighted to take on the position of Vice President and General Manager of TNS Latin America," said Mr. Robles in the TNS press release. "I am particularly looking forward to enhancing TNS's position in the Latin American market as a first-choice technology partner for financial and retail solutions."

Mr. Robles graduated from AIU's MBA program with a concentration in International Business. "Edward's obvious flair for success in the industry made him the ideal choice to head up our Latin American presence," said Ray Low, president of TNS' International Services Division, in the July 31 press release. "Internationally, TNS has historically been known as a connectivity provider, but senior appointments such as Edward Robles' reinforce our position as an end-to-end provider for the global transaction industry."

Including his five years as an independent consultant specializing in working with small-to-medium sized organizations primarily in the areas of ATM, PoS, EFT and wire transfer solutions, Mr. Robles has over 20 years' experience in the field that he brings with him to TNS. Previous senior management positions in the electronic payments and financial services industries include Vice President of Business Development at Billetel and Director of Business Development (Americas) at Integrated Research.
