CLEP Test

The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) is a program that allows you to take exams and get college credit for what you've already learned from your military experience, training or independent study. You can take these exams to earn college credit toward your degree at AIU Online to meet general education requirements such as Math, English, Science, Business, foreign languages and many others.

You must receive a passing score on all CLEP tests if you want them to be considered for transfer credit and you can take CLEP examinations as many times as you need. However, if you don't receive a passing score on an examination, you must wait six months before retaking the same test.

CLEP tests are free for eligible military personnel. For more information on eligibility, please visit: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/military.html

Taking these exams can help you earn more credits faster-getting you closer to earning your degree. Talk to your Education Officer or Test Control Officer for more information and testing procedures.
